He began his illustrious professional career from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, where he has completed his MBBS. He then completed his Masters in Surgery from the prestigious Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore.

He has been trained at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi a premier institute for Plastic and Reconstructive surgery in the region of South East Asia.

He specializes in Facial Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Hand Trauma and Brachial Plexus Surgery, Cleft, Craniofacial and Facial Trauma Surgery, Burns and Pediatric Plastic Surgery. His understanding and execution of Diabetic Foot surgeries (Podiatry) has helped many save their lower limbs.

He is a part of the team which has performed INDIA'S FIRST SUCCESSFUL BILATERAL HAND TRANSPLANT and has performed more than three hundred Congenital hand and Hand trauma surgeries.
